We Love Barnstable

There's no doubt about it. We love Barnstable. We could be elsewhere, but we CHOOSE to live in Barnstable. It is absolutely a great community. Is it perfect? Of course not. But this is where we choose to raise our family.

I love going to Craigville Beach, and Sunset Hill and Sandy Neck. We love Main Street in Hyannis and Route 6A on the northside.

There is no other place we want to be. No place. We love Barnstable. And we are not afraid to say it.

We are going to Barnstable Village to watch the morning parade. And then we will go to the beach. And we will end up the day in Hyannis at the "big" parade and Town Band concert.

The hate blogs can stew in their juices.

We love Barnstable.

Period!

BB,

According to logic of KingKOG and Muffy the Lapdog, it is impossible to enjoy the 4th of July...the Town is obviously using this day for evil intent!

Don't you realize that the our independence is endangered because the Town Council is still in place? They will probably mention at some point during the day that we are an All America City...oh, how dastardly they are!

The Barnstable Village & Hyannis parades are glaring examples of town waste, with all the police & DPW staff engaged in presenting these frivilous events...let the people pay to see a parade if they want one.

Fun at Craigville Beach! Goodness, Councilor Crocker owns a parking lot there, so enjoying the sun is out of the question...he is obviously trying to redirect the sun's rays to shine only on his property to increase its value.

And the "Town Band"...they are probably playing music encoded with a subliminal message, telling all to do the bidding of the Town Manager.

We must be especially alert to the nefarious scemes of the Town on this of all days!!!

PS....Happy 4th to ALL...to steal a line from Tom Paine, "these are the blogs that try mens' souls!"

Parades were great today BB. The parade on Main Street Hyannis had to have 20,000 people on the street.

I was down at the harbor. The boat parade typified everything that is good about our community. Big boats, little boats, all hand decorated. People yelling Happy 4th of July. Three young men in Kayaks singing God Bless America. Families lining the docks waving flags and cheering. It was all just great fun!
